KP & KB Series - Wet Pocket Plate Ni-Cad Batteries
- 8 - 1,540 ah
- Available as single cells (KP) or multicell blocks (KB)
- Pocket plate technology - most common and cost effective
- KPL / KBL - for long duration discharges = 3 hours or more
- KPM / KBM - for medium rate discharges = mixed use / 30 minutes to 3 hours
- KPH / KBH - for high rate discharges = 30 minute or less

KF Series - Wet Fibre Plate Ni-Cad Batteries
- 11 - 1,500 ah
- Available as single cells or multicell blocks
- Fibre plate technology
- KFL - for long duration discharges = 3 hours or more
- KFM - for medium rate discharges = mixed use / 60 minutes to 3 hours
- KFH - for high rate discharges = 60 minutes or less
- KFX - for very high rate discharges = generator starting applications

Battery Racks
SBS offers standard and seimsic battery racks from stock.
We can provide a battery rack for every brand and type of battery on the market.
Our battery racks accommodate flooded and sealed lead-acid as well as Ni-Cad batteries up to 3-tiers high with Seismic Zone 4 certification.
All rack systems are enamel painted and/or epoxy coated. The rails are either coated with a black polyethylene or have a plastic insulating cover for additional acid resistance and lower friction for installation ease.
We also offer spill containment systems consisting of interlocking HDPE pans and flame-retardant acid absorbing/neutralizing pillows.

SBS will custom design and build an enclosure to fit your needs. Whether you need one or a hundred enclosures we can help design a solution that fits your requirements. We can integrate our our own products or equipment that you already have.

SBS Cool Cell/Enclosures®
Cool Cell® passive temperature regulating enclosures offer reliable, cost-effective protection from summer heat and winter freezing for batteries. The Cool Cell® enclosure protects batteries from destructive temperature extremes in the harshest climates. It doubles and triples battery life in hot weather, and ensures at least 80% capacity in the cold. Cool Cells® are offered in many standard sizes. They can be built to hold batteries, battery/charger combinations and even DC distribution panels. Batteries can be installed on pull-out drawers or fixed shelves.

The correct charging system means everything to the performance & service life of your battery system. The environment, duty cycle & battery chemistry play a crucial part in selecting the correct charging system. SBS understands which charger designs and features will be optimal for your particular battery string & application.

AT10 / AT30 Series
Microprocessor controlled, easy to setup, easy to operate, and easy to maintain single or three phase digital rectifier/chargers. Available in 12, 24, 48 and 130 VDC (6-1000 amps).
