Lead Acid Batteries
SBS produces a wide array of lead-acid batteries in sealed and flooded configurations for stationary & motive power applications. These include Sealed Lead Acid (SLA), Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA), flooded wet cell, lead-antimony, lead-selenium, lead plante, NiCad, alkaline and almost any other battery chemistry known. These batteries are designed for purposes ranging from uninterruptible power systems to utility substation recloser systems, from telecommunications switches to control rooms and from forklifts to other material handling equipment.

Battery Racks
SBS offers seismic and standard battery racks. SBS produces a battery rack for every brand and type of battery. Whether C&D, Dynasty, GNB, East Penn, Exide, Enersys, Alcad, Saft, Power Battery or other, SBS has a rack assembly that will save you valuable floor space and allow for easy installation and maintenance. Our battery racks accommodate sealed VRLA, flooded cell as well as NiCad batteries up to four tier with Seismic Zone 4 certification. All rack systems are enamel painted and epoxy coated. Shelf stringers are topped with black polyethylene for additional acid resistance and lower friction for installation ease. The complete battery rack system is modular making it scalable, expandable and movable.We also offer the SBS EconoPan spill containment consisting of interlocking HDPE pans and flame-retardant acid absorbing/neutralizing pillows as well traditional berm & liner containment..

SBS Cool Cell/Enclosures®
Cool Cell® passive temperature regulating enclosures offer reliable, cost-effective protection from summer heat and winter freezing for batteries. Cool Cell® protects batteries from destructive temperature extremes in the harshest climates. It doubles and triples battery life in hot weather, and ensures at least 80% capacity in the cold. Cool Cells® are offered in many standard sizes. They can be constructed with batteries, battery/charger combinations, and even DC distribution panels. Batteries can be installed on pull-out drawers or fixed shelves.

UPS/Power Quality
Storage Battery Systems, Inc. (SBS) is the factory authorized distributor of single phase and three phase uninterrruptible power supply (UPS) system solutions from more than ten (10) manufacturers. Single-phase solutions include on-line, line interactive, and stand-by technologies ranging from 100 VA (0.1 KVA) to 18 KVA. Three phase UPS solutions include on-line, line interactive, delta conversion, and rotary technologies ranging from 5 KVA to 750 KVA (single module) and to 4500 KVA (4.5 MW) in parallel.
