International Facility Management Association - IFMA
IFMA was established in 1980 as a not-for-profit association dedicated to promoting excellence in the management of facilities. On a global level, IFMA identifies trends, conducts research, provides educational programs, and assists corporate and organizational facility managers in developing strategies to manage human, facility, and real estate resources.
2004 Facilities Survey
This survey was conducted as a collaboration of IFMA and five other facility management organizations and publications. The objective of the study was to:
- Capture industry demographics;
- Gain a better understanding of facility organizations managed by the respondents;
- Identify current and future issues relevant to the industry;
- Determine to what degree responsibilities have changed; and
- Identify work challenges and ways to improve work.
2002 IFMA Energy Awareness Survey
This report investigated facilities managers' attitudes and policies toward energy conservation and power quality. A variety of sizes, locations, and industries were included.
