SBS BATTERY TESTING KIT (VRLA, FLOODED, NI-CD)

Storage Battery Systems Inc. has developed a leading edge digital battery diagnostic tester to perform IEEE std. 450 & 1188 battery maintenance & testing for any stationary application such as Telecom Power, Utility Power or Critical Data Power battery systems. Suitable for VRLA, sealed lead acid, flooded lead acid or NiCad cells, the SBS-IBEX is automatic with 3 second, single pass sampling rates, (competitive models require up to 3 passes of 12 second durations). A patented internal algorithm completely biases AC ripple during float charge cycles. The SBS-IBEX is, of course, temperature compensated & measures internal impedance (z), dc voltage (V), internal temperature (T) as well as intercell resistance. It can be used on single cells, multi-cell monoblocks or telecom parallel cell configurations. The data is locally stored & can be uploaded easily to a PC. Microsoft compatible data trending & analysis software is included. Handheld storage will meet or exceed up to 15 strings of 240 cells each. The SBS-IBEX is an affordable alternative that allows you download firmware upgrades from the Internet should any be required. This unit is similar to the Alber Cellcorder® in design testing theory. The 2005 digital hydrometer with downloading capabilities virtually automates battery maintenance. Storing up to 1,100 individual readings, the 2500 will upload its readings to the included trending & analysis software via the WIN XP compatible I.R. communications port found standard on today's laptops & PCs. Using a digital hydrometer reduces maintenance time, increases accuracy, eliminates human error & because of its ease of use, ensures that all cells will be recorded. Using a digital hydrometer avoids acid spillage & the damage issues that plague glass-float hydrometers while delivering +/- .1% accuracy.
