Where others have cut costs by reducing the wraps on the positive plate.SBS' premium flat plate design still has two fiberglass layers, one koreseal wrap and a bottom boot, allowing maximum cycle life. Less expensive methods only utilize a single glass mat loosely folded over the plate with an envelope separator slid over it. Active material loss equals reduced run time and shorter battery life.
