Employees throughout our company performed acts of generosity during the 2019 holiday season. It’s because they’re passionate about community outreach.

We’d like to take a moment to share these community service activities with you. It’s our hope that their altruism will inspire others to give back to the community in which they live.

In Menomonee Falls, WI employees donated over 2,200 pounds of food to the Falls Area Food Pantry, a local volunteer organization and food pantry that works to reduce hunger in our community. That comes out to 34 pounds per employee. The two truckloads of food were delivered to the pantry after the holiday season concluded. Last year the food pantry served more than 600 families so we are delighted to help them load their shelves and get 2020 off to a solid start.

Employees at the Nolan Power Group (NPG) office in Mandeville, LA participated in several community service activities. They collected over 50 food items for the Northshore Food Bank which “provides food assistance to more than 375 individuals and families each week who live at or below the 130% federal poverty guidelines and have found themselves in need.” Like many food banks, they’re supported by local food drives as well as monetary donations.

Randy Remmelts, NPG Offshore Group Manager, and his wife Kelsey volunteered to collect food and prepare a meal for the families at Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Louisiana. Not only did they serve a meal to all the residents, they also filled up the house’s pantry! This is a wonderful act of kindness to the families coping with catastrophic illness. Many NPG employees contributed to the food Randy and Kelsey loaded into the pantry.

Let’s hear it for these employees. When given the opportunity to demonstrate their generosity, they stepped up.
