We sat down recently with Ken Quartullo for a conversation about his role at Storage Battery Systems, LLC.
Q: Tell us about your professional career.
A: I worked at Selig Chevrolet as a service advisor until 1985 when I started working for Storage Battery Systems. I was the operations manager for the first nine years at SBS before accepting an outside sales position.
Q: What is your role at SBS?
A: I am a territory account manager as well as the Motive Power division sales manager. I enjoy working with the sales team and sharing the knowledge and experience that I have obtained from working in the material handling industry for the past (33) years.
Q: What are your goals for the department and team?
Our goals are to provide the best industrial motive power solution and give the customer more than they expect for an excellent customer experience. We will continually strive to supply best in class motive power products and customer service.
Q: What would an SBS customer say about our company?
SBS responds to our needs in a timely manner and always looks out for our company’s best interest. SBS provides good quality products and services at competitive prices for a good overall value. We do what is right for the customer all the time so when it’s time for a replacement battery or charger, the client knows they can trust us.
Q: What’s your favorite part about working at SBS?
Meeting with clients and developing working relationships. I also enjoy working in the field analyzing forklift battery and charger problems and providing solutions that are best suited for the clients’ operation and budget.
Q: What are your hobbies outside of work?
I enjoy spending time with my friends and family on the weekends. I am a big sports fan and over the years I have really enjoyed watching my sons, nephews and nieces compete in many different sports.
